The Tea Room

And a cup full of steaming, hot tea

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas full of good tea and lovely books.

Two bookstore cats

We share a space with E Shaver’s Bookseller and two wonderful cats. Meet Bartleby (left) and Mr. Eliot. Despite their coloring, they are brothers, and very spoiled rescue kitties. They spend their days among the books and stealing cookies from the tea shop.

Three French Brews

We really do have three French brews, but we also carry tea from across the globe. Find your favorite flavor from India, Egypt, Scotland, North Africa, Finland and more.

Four calling treats

These delicious snacks are calling your name. Delectable and a perfect accompaniment for your cuppa. We leave it up to you if you want to share.

Five handmade rings

The store carries jewelry that never goes out of fashion, including rings. Proprietor Elizabeth Ruby also designs and sells necklaces and earrings, some with tea motifs.

Seven horns a-gleaming

_mg_2467Live in Highland style. These items are handmade in Scotland and England from horns. Hair pins, combs, drinking cups, bracelets and more can be yours.

Eight teas a-milking

Do you take milk with your tea? We have some much cuter options than an old milk carton.

Pick up a cow, duck, kitten, bunny, dog or an elephant.

Nine puppets dancing

Have your own tea party with delightful creatures from Folkman’s Puppets. In addition to fuzzy beasts, we also carry animals like an octopus, a dragon, and a firefly – no less cuddly.

Ten cups a-steeping

Sometimes you just need a mug to match your mood. Sometimes you want to drink fancy. We’ve got antique cups and saucers as well as comfortable mugs.

And each flavor of tea comes with brewing instructions so you know exactly how long to steep your tea for the best flavor.
