Green Rooibos is a completely unfermented variety of the famous “red bush” or Rooibos, high in anti-oxidants, trace minerals, and vitamin c. It also contains fair amounts of alpha-hydroxy acid, which is known to promote healthy skin and connective tissues. It is collected in small batches and taken directly to drying facilities to stop the rapid natural fermentation.
